Pula is the unofficial capital and cultural centre of Istria ( Pula’s landmark is the huge, good preserved amphitheatre of the Roman Empire. To the tourist features from that time belong also the triumphal arc and the temple of Augustus. A walk through the centre of Pula appears like a trip through history.
